Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 17th July 2026 By accessing, registering on, or using the BioSkills platform (“Platform”), you (“Student”, “User”, or “Learner”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. BioSkills is operated by VYGNIK Behavioral Services Private Limited (“BioSkills”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Information We Collect

We may collect:
  • Personal details (name, email, phone number, academic background)
  • Course registration and participation data
  • Payment transaction references (not card/bank details)
  • Platform usage and analytics data

2. Use of Information

Your data is used to:
  • Facilitate course registrations and communication
  • Share relevant updates and course-related information
  • Improve platform performance and user experience
  • Meet legal and regulatory obligations

3. Data Sharing

Your information may be shared with:
  • Training Partners for course delivery and learner support purposes;
  • payment gateways and service providers;
  • analytics or advertising service providers (such as Google); and
  • legal or regulatory authorities when required under applicable law.
BioSkills does not sell personal data to third parties. Where analytics or advertising tools are used, data is processed in aggregated or anonymized form to the extent reasonably possible.

4. Data Security

BioSkills implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for operational, legal, or compliance purposes.

6. Your Rights

You may:
  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of data, subject to legal obligations

7. Changes to Terms & Privacy Policy

BioSkills reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and the Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Force Majeure

BioSkills shall not be held liable for any delay, interruption, or failure in performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, governmental actions, strikes, technical failures, internet disruptions, or other force majeure events.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. BioSkills is operated by VYGNIK Behavioral Services Private Limited (“BioSkills”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Platform Overview

BioSkills is an aggregator platform that facilitates discovery, registration, and participation in educational and training programs offered by independent training partners (“Training Partners”). BioSkills acts solely as a technology and aggregation platform connecting learners with Training Partners and does not itself deliver the courses unless explicitly stated.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to register on the Platform.
  • By registering, you confirm that all information provided by you is true, accurate, and complete.

3. Registration Responsibility

All course registrations and payments must be completed exclusively through the BioSkills platform.

4. Course Enrolment & Delivery

  • Course details, content, duration, outcomes, and certification are determined by the respective Training Partner.
  • BioSkills acts only as a facilitator and aggregator and is not responsible for academic delivery, teaching quality, or course outcomes.

5. Fees & Payments

  • Course fees are displayed on the Platform and must be paid in full at the time of enrolment unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are processed through authorized payment gateways.
  • BioSkills does not store your payment card or banking details.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Student-Initiated Cancellation

A learner may be eligible for a refund if the cancellation request is submitted at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the official course/program commencement date.
No refunds shall be applicable:
  • for cancellation requests made fewer than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the course/program commencement date;
  • after the commencement of the course/program; or
  • in cases where the learner fails to attend or participate after commencement (“no-show”).

Training Partner Cancellation

A learner may be eligible for a refund if the cancellation request is submitted at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the official course/program commencement date.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds may take additional time to reflect depending on payment gateway processing timelines and banking procedures.

7. Outcomes

Certificates, projects, mentorship, career support, or other outcomes are provided by the respective Training Partner unless explicitly stated otherwise. BioSkills does not guarantee placement, employment, internships, admissions, or specific career outcomes.

8. Code of Conduct

Learners agree to:
  • Engage respectfully with instructors, mentors, and peers
  • Avoid disruptive, abusive, or unethical behavior
  • Refrain from sharing course materials without authorization
Violation may result in suspension or termination of access without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All platform content, branding, logos, and materials belong to BioSkills or its licensors.
  • Course materials belong to the respective Training Partners.
  • Students may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize any content without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

BioSkills shall not be liable for:
  • course content quality or delivery issues;
  • decisions made by Training Partners;
  • delays, interruptions, or temporary unavailability of the Platform;
  • indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; or
  • loss of opportunity, employment, earnings, or data.
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, BioSkills’ liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the learner for the specific course/program in dispute.

11. Termination of Access

BioSkills reserves the right to suspend or terminate learner access in case of:
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Misuse of the Platform

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka.
